How far can you fly?
This is a common question nearly everyone asks,short asnwer is that VLOS (visual line of sight) must be maintained. Also the operator/spoter must be able to identify the drone's direction/orientation at all times.
How high can you fly?
UK CAA guidelines stipulate a maximum altitude of 400ft (120m). Higher altitudes can be achieved however this requires additional planning time and prior approval.
Where can you fly?
I can operate UK wide. However I must obtain landowner permission for the takeoff and landing site, there are also restricted airspace considerations which may prohibit flight or require additional permissions.
Do you need to be Insured?
Yes to comply with legislation I maintain public liability insurance with Coverdrone , EC785/2004 compliant, for £1 million.
(This amount can be increased if required)
Can you fly Indoors?
Yes, drones can be flown indoors, but it’s important to consider a few factors:
Choose a small drone: Smaller drones are easier to control in confined spaces.
Use propeller guards: This reduces the risk of damage or injury.
Stability matters: Look for drones with good sensors for indoor stability.
Fly in a safe environment: Ensure there’s enough space and avoid flying near fragile objects or people.

Can you fly in any weather?
No. To ensure absolute safety of people & property in the area around the drone, there are some weather conditions which could make operating the drone unsafe. Rain could enter the drone’s electronics and cause a malfunction, or a sudden gust of wind could push the drone into a hazardous area or into the path of danger. Weather forecasts will be watched closely leading up the a drone flight to ensure the conditions are suitable.

I have sold Photo's in the past on request. I am currently working on setting up a platform where photos can be purchased.
